Nourishing Cauliflower Oatmeal

This is a breakfast staple for me. Cauliflower is a superfood, high antioxidant, nutrient-rich in vitamins B and C, high in fiber. Steel Cut Oats are one of the healthiest grains you can eat! High in antioxidants, calcium, fiber, iron, magnesium, B vitamins, potassium, protein, and great energy throughout my day!

Be careful with your “mix ins” and “add ons” . If you are just now cleaning up your diet in an effort to be healthy from the inside out, I recommend putting very small amounts of what you need to consume this dish. And then working toward cutting back to bring your meal into the heaviest state it can possibly be.

Place oatmeal and liquid in a saucepan, cook slowly, until the liquid is absorbed.

  • ½ cup steel cut oatmeal
  • ½ cup water, or almond milk

Add riced cauliflower into the saucepan that you cooked the oatmeal in. This will add some more liquid, simmer until the consistency you desire.

  • ½ cup riced cauliflower

Add your choice of what to mix in.

  • salt, cinnamon, real vanilla extract, rasins, seeds & nuts

Add your choice of what to add on.

  • fruit, real chocolate chips, real maple syrup, pure peanut butter
